Dr Swati Partani is heading Department of Child development at Maniben Nanavati Women’s College. She believes in progressive change which makes this world a better place to live for all. Acceptance is the key! She has guided multiple research and social projects and RAAH is one of them to ensure gender equity in society.
For her books and music are a way to express one’s thoughts and feelings. She firmly believes that you have to live your life the way you want and that even includes being who one really wants to be. Her outlook on life is that always thinks out of the box and never limits someone to a title, post or even a gender! Apart from that she is a creative, consistent and a trustworthy person who is always there whenever there is a need for support and help.
Being fearless is not about what you do but who you are, this describes Mahek Fazal the best. It almost feels like a thing from folklore, the way she has built a reputation as one of the most efficient team members of RAAH all while creating strong fellowships that will surely last for evermore. She is an extremely generous person who also believes “if you know how you feel, and you so clearly know what you want to say, I don’t think you should wait. I think you should speak now”.
Strong thoughts and attitudes are what describe Ms. Mallika Rajpal. She believes that movies and cinema have a way to portray one’s thoughts and feelings that can have an immense impact on people’s views. Her outlook towards life is simple and often her calming demeanour is awe inspiring for all the teammates. She’s a strong supporter of equal rights and has always had firm thoughts on it. Her outlook and view of life are like no other.
Zestful, hardworking, and kind-hearted person- that’s what defines Sanika Kaneri. She has a unique sense of artistry and is an excellent content creator, eager to make a change. An insightful core team member of RAAH, always ready to step up & help the trans community. A true blue egalitarian with some of the most innovative ideas in creative writing.
According to her, a girl is always compared to an angel, a boy is always compared to a bold character, then why can’t a transgender person be called a bold angelic person! Through RAAH she wants to bring a positive change in the thinking of transgender parents and youth. Her down-to-earth attitude and positive outlook toward life never seem to fail. She likes creativity and contributes to content creation and also handles and all social media handles while also being an ever so enthusiast in fieldwork. She is a core team member of RAAH who is ready to help in all the ways she can.

Apart from being an outspoken ally and advocate for equal rights for the trans community, she is also an excellent researcher, spokesperson and content creator. Hoping to help make a positive impact through RAAH, she is a volunteer that is ready to help and act to the best of her abilities.
Creative and detail-oriented – Stuti Jhaveri primarily focuses on design and also contributes in content creation. She believes, with the love and support of the family one can be free and flourish in life and she hopes to make this a reality through RAAH.

Enthusiastic and focused core team member of RAAH – Dr. Rudra Vakil aka Shital Parekh advocates for human rights and an inclusive world which is evident in his content. A determined person with a keen interest in inculcating ideas of equality as an important aspect of child development and wishes to focus on spreading awareness among parents.
Our recent alumni Glenda D’silva a graduate of batch 2019-20. Her sheer dedication towards the transgender community have helped her enroute her path of service for the community. She started her journey to work for the Transgender community during her last year of B. A., she presented a research paper under the mentorship of Dr. Swati Partani (HOD Dept. Of Child development). Through RAAH she carried out various activities and also made good contacts with the community members who seek our aid. She is now the Chapter lead for Bangalore city at Volunteer for India (India’s first national youth volunteer network driven by U.S. Consulate In Chennai) she have been extensively working to gender sensitize the society about the gender identities & about the community. She has also Collaborated RAAH & VFI while conducting multiple events and is working rigorously to support the Community in all possible ways
